First is something I’m very excited about. I have lost interest or should I say time to have time interest on anime for a long time. Finally, one title has sparked that interest again. That is the newly released Fate/Zero which will also be followed by Fate/Zero 2 in 2012. Here is an awesome cover!
Other that I also saw Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam and Hunter x Hunter 2011. After reading the manga, I’m really curious to what’s going be the storyline of Hunter x Hunter 2011 is it going to follow the manga and just whole other story?
Other than anime, I was browser AllYouLike then found some really interested and potentially useful software.

Review: Tenjou Tenge

Finally, it’s completed. Tenjou Tenge‘s plot evolves around high school students gang group who go around fight each other in quest for power and domination… of what? I dunno exactly. Basically, they’re like students with damn powerful ability to fight… and there was dragon power and eventually they got involved with bigger clans and somehow everything became interlinked with history and historic villain and stuff. The manga was way too wordy and too much history and narrating. So I got confuse and skipped a lot of history part. That’s why I can’t tell much of what’s going on.
So what did I like about this manga? The level of details in the drawing. It’s probably the most detailed and elaborated manga I’ve ever read. The girls are super hot and sexy and the guys are super cool, handsome all. Seriously, each page, each battle power and skills, you can see the effort and attention that’s paid to the detail. And I love that. If you’re the type who’re more into storyline and stuff, Tenjou Tenge is definitely isn’t something you’d want to waste your time on.

Recently I just had time to watch this anime. It was recommended by a friend. I’d give this anime credit for 1 thing and that is shattering my expectation. It’s nothing about what I thought it was about. That is good of course otherwise it will be a boring ride. Seirei no Moribito has less of battles and more of drama so if you’re looking non-stop spear action, you may find yourself stumbling on the wrong title. Although the notion of having a female spear wander as the main character give the impression of endless spear battles fearsome rivals, it is not the case. It’s not a focus that Seirei no Moribito is trying to capture.

Just realize I haven’t been writing about anime in a while so well I shall get a few titles on. Eyeshield 21 is nothing new. It’s been going on for 140 over episodes now. But among my peers, it does not seem to be very well received as in very few people actually heard of this anime let alone watch ‘em. I think this anime is awesome because despite the fact that I don’t really like American football (well you see the anime is all about American football), I like the anime. I don’t really follow the anime episode by episode though. I just watch the matches and skip most of the stories. Overall, it’s worth checking out. Do not skip this title just because you don’t like American football.

One of the most well completed animes in my opinion. The story started from underground then progress to above ground, into the sky, out to space and ended in galaxy. Raging robotic battles were fought from ground to air to space. There was humor, relationship and solitude. It started of just like any traditional mecha genre. An innocent kid was able to pilot the most powerful weapon that can save mankind. Boring… But that was not all there is, there are more than that. So yeah conitnue watching even if you think you can tell what happens next. However, I think some part is totally nonsensical but over it’s forgivable. Also, the character ahd robot designs are not quite my type except for Yoko =P. Lastly, it’s a very highly rated anime in myanimelist.net, so yeah it’s worth checking out.

Very cheerful and peaceful anime set in a peaceful town. I started watching this because of the cute drawing. Well the whole story isn’t that interesting. It’s just about a regular high school girl who becamse a God overnight and she started taking duties of saving people’s lives and maintaining the peace in town while having to juggle that resposibility with her school life. If there is any takeaway from this anime that would be “with power comes repsonsibility” and “responsibility requires priority” and stuff like that. However, that was not what I liked about it. It was the innocence, simplicity, cuteness, cheerfulness and peacefulness of the whole story. Some may consider it plain and boring. Well, that depends on when you watch it. Pick the right time to watch and you shall enjoy.

One of my most favorite in term of visual graphic and animation. Great uniform and dress design and detail animation (at least it is on HD). Cute and Erotic. Plot wise, nothing much just a regular Ecchi genre anime series. Definitely not recommended for people who are more into story and stuff and less interested in the visual estacy of it. It’s good to enjoy the stupidity of it when you’re experiencing stress and pressure.

Definitely one of the best 13-episode anime I’ve ever watched. I love the interconnectivity of this anime and the sheer violence of the battles (which explains why it’s R-Rated). The events of the story jump back and forth in time and leave you wondering what are they trying to do. Then slowly you’d start to make sense of how each event connects. Finally, they revealed to you how each and every character came into contact with every other character. Then they also have my currently no. 1 favorite harlious characters Isaac and Miria, the comedy couple. The ending was satisfactory as well. I think this is a must-watch.

One of the messiest animes I’ve ever watched (if not the messiest). There is no main storyline. They spend the 1st don’t know how many episodes introducing new characters and rest of it confusing you with weird psychological observation or ideology or whatever that calls. I got really confused and lost at certain episodes. Either I lack the intelligence to comprehend such highly psychological illustration or the weird and abstract mind set. However, I do find some episodes very good and interesting. They presents us with usual scenarios in society with an unusual solution to it. All I can say is that this is one weird, wicked and strangely abstract anime. Only recommended if you’re strange and weird.

I’m not a big fan of Macross franchise. In fact, this is the first Macross series I’ve ever watched despite the fact that it has been around for over 20 years. It’s definitely awesome and highly recommended. The setting of the story is more or less similar to that of Gundam series. However unlike Gundam, its plot is more focus on relationship and friendship between characters rather than the exhilatering galactic battles. On top of that, the graphical animation is superb. So if you’re the type who sometime watch anime for the graphical illustration, this is also just right. I would recommend watching this series in HD quality because it will enhance your visual experience (by a lot).
Besides the awesome drawings and superb animation, the soundtrack is nice too. Well at least, I like it. You probably won’t find it nice if you just listen to the songs but you might love it after watching.
