Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (2010)

Unlimited Blade WorksReviewReviewReviewReview

Finally, something to complete Fate/Stay Night awesomeness – The Archer’s story. The TV series was pretty much about Saber and Shirou and I didn’t read the manga. Archer plays a very minor role in TV series and we don’t know much about him beside the fact that he’s an archer class servant who doesn’t use arrow. That mystery remains as the series end and left you pretty unsatisfied. And now Unlimited Blade Works is here to unravel that mystery and makes things more complete. Banzaii! >.<

The effect and battle sequence is much better too. ><

It’s been a while again….

busy

Sometime when you’re too caught up with things, maintaining blog becomes a chore. A lot happened and things are moving faster than ever. Before I know it, semester recess is over and exam is coming. I pretty much had a lot of fun. However, I kinda find it saddening that everybody around me are occupied with stuffs like school, FYP, mid-term, Internship, etc. People complaining here and there from Facebook to blog, from MSN chat to dinner chat. It was so overwhelming that I start question myself. Am I really that good that I got it all figured out? or Do I just slack THAT MUCH? Because seriously and honestly, I don’t think it’s that bad.

But I gotta say, the main difference would probably the fact that those stuffs matter that much to them and less so to me. As to why, it doesn’t matter that much to me, I don’t really know why as well. Oh well, as long as I’m healthy and happy, and things are going fine, I’m grateful.

Summer Wars (2009)

Summer wars

ReviewReviewReviewReview

Summer Wars’ setting takes place in a modern day Japan. Kenji, a mathematics genius and online game coding part-timer, took a part-time job offer from his beautiful and popular senpai, Natsuki, with no clue of the detail of the job. It turns out that the part-time job is to pretend to be her boyfriend and husband-to-be in her family gathering. And from there, there a sudden turn of event where Kenji was later reported to be wanted fugitive who vandalize OZ (The name of the a very popular and extremely pervasive online game in the movie). His identity was exposed and from there, many more events unfold that turn his summer part time to be an unexpected battle to save the world and his wimp.

Summer Wars production value is so good. The plot line simply trying to projects that traditional values and spirits still hold even in modern day warfare. It wasn’t a very convincingly emotional/inspirational piece of work but I’d say it’s quite motivational with all the family-should-stick-and-fight-as-one thing going on. It’s pretty much portray how an ideal family should be in time of happiness and crisis – Together as one.
