Since it’s Christmas time, and all 3 of TV series I’m following has put interesting Christmas episode. I feel like doing a little recap.
How I Met Your Mother
Season 6 Episode 12
For 6 seasons straight, I still haven’t get to see the HIMYM Christmas episode that I wanted to see. You know, the episode of HIMYM where all 5 of them sit in their cozy apartment having a warm traditional Christmas celebration. That would be boring I guess. But I really do hope they have 1 of those episode eventually. Anyway, this season’s Christmas is interesting. The best so far I have to say. It’s not only hilarious but also has story and lessons for us to learn from. Well something like that.
Season 2 Episode 10
Glee Christmas episode rocks but the songs were a bit boring except for Last Christmas. Glee Christmas episode has it all. Secret Santa, Glee Club Christmas decoration, Christmas Miracle, and even the Grinch. Totally classic and I love it. I think that’s probably because I never get to really celebrate Christmas in the part of the world. Seeing it on TV probably the closest I can get to the real Christmas atmosphere celebration.
Season 6 Episode 7
FG Christmas episode has to be the best of all three. Beautiful soundtrack, shocking twist, epic climax, fantastic wrap-up and wonderful ending. Glee totally got pwned by FG in song selection this time. I find it rather genius how they could tweak it and turn it into one heck of a ride full of adventures and actions. If you want to know if Santa really exist or not? and what’s going on at the Northpole? and what would happen if Stewie and Brian are doing Santa’s job? then this episode will answer it all.
Dunno if this will be handy but definitely interesting. Anyway here it goes:

That time of year is here again. The time where we spend generous amount of money to have a tree in our house and decorate that tree with ridiculous ornaments such as star, socks, fake bulbs, bells..etc. It’s also the time where we ask wish for present from a bearded fat man in red knowing he isn’t the one buying it. Nevertheless, it’s always a happy time, a time to smile and cherish your love ones and be thankful for everything little things you’ve got.
To everybody, have a very Merry Christmas! and Happy New Year!
Finally, it’s completed. Tenjou Tenge‘s plot evolves around high school students gang group who go around fight each other in quest for power and domination… of what? I dunno exactly. Basically, they’re like students with damn powerful ability to fight… and there was dragon power and eventually they got involved with bigger clans and somehow everything became interlinked with history and historic villain and stuff. The manga was way too wordy and too much history and narrating. So I got confuse and skipped a lot of history part. That’s why I can’t tell much of what’s going on.
So what did I like about this manga? The level of details in the drawing. It’s probably the most detailed and elaborated manga I’ve ever read. The girls are super hot and sexy and the guys are super cool, handsome all. Seriously, each page, each battle power and skills, you can see the effort and attention that’s paid to the detail. And I love that. If you’re the type who’re more into storyline and stuff, Tenjou Tenge is definitely isn’t something you’d want to waste your time on.
Why am I getting a new racket again? I have no idea… probably because my previous one sucks, and I feel that getting a new and presumably better ones would make me play better. So yeah it’s a psychological boost thingy I guess where you had to spend unnecessary amount of cash to make you feel that you had to play well. Anyway, on a serious note, the Slayer 95 definitely better than my previous racket – Yonex Nanospeed 500. For one thing it’s much lighter and the swing speed is much faster… in fact it’s too fast that I’m not used to it and always miss the shot timing. So I’m still trying to adjust to that. Another issue I have with it is that it’s slightly longer than the previous 2 racket I’ve played, and coz of that I miss the sweet spot quite often. So actually, I’m doing worse in the Slayer 95 at the moment. I’ve only tried it once though. Hopefully, I’ll get used to it and play better eventually. Otherwise….. I’m gonna buy a new racket…!? lol Not likely. This is probably my last investment on badminton racket. I wont be getting to play so often after graduation, which is the one thing that I’m definitely not looking forward to.
Anyway, back to the racket, I can conclude that it’s definitely a good racket and worth the buck. As for how good, the answer is obvious. I don’t know… After all, I’m just an intermediate casual player who’s still struggling to handle the pro equipment.
Went to JB with my juniors for after-exam lunch. It’s really been awhile since the last time I was there. And of course, we went to my favorite restaurant, the Sizzling StoneGrill. The best Stone grill I’ve ever had so far. The only one I’ve had so far. But seriously, it’s good. Wish they had it in Singapore. But doubt I’d go there if they had it. It’ll be darn expensive in Singapore. We spend about RM 170 for 6 pax. That was the price for the order of six big stone grill set, 3 drinks and 1 tom yum noodle. Worth it, I’d say.
The shitty part was we had to eat it fast as we were rushing for time. Then by the time I came back, I was starving and was craving for it again during dinner….zzzz I had to close eye and make do with canteen food…well not that dramatic but definitely unsatisfactory. Maybe I should take away 1 set home next time… I wonder if I can do that.
Just got it for myself as Christmas-and-after-exam gift yesterday. It’s been like over 6-7 years that I haven’t been wearing a wrist watch. So I thought neh I’m about to enter the working world soon so it’s about time to get myself a watch in case I need to look more corporate. Anyway, yeah so after doing some research I’ve decided to get the SEIKO SNA113P1. Honestly, I never expect that getting decent watch could be so troublesome. Or maybe I’m just too noob about watch. I had to find out what’s chronograph watch, what’s the difference between hardlex crystal and sapphire coated cystal, watch size, average prices… etc. That was seriously a lot of work for something that’s not so necessary. But oh well, since I’m going to spend a big buck on it, I figured I had to make sure I get what’s worthwhile.
All in all, it was quite worth the effort though. I got it for quite at a decent deal and I love it. The size of the watch face fits my hands perfectly and the weight is incredibly light due to the full titanium body. The lightest watch I’ve ever held so far.
