Top 5 Movies of 2012

I was watching SourceFed last comment commentary section of 2012 and yeah there was a video of Top 5 Movie round up for 2012 by Steve Zaragoza the other day.

These were the top 5 in his list

  1. The Hobbit : The Unexpected Journey
  2. The Life of Aquatic
  3. Moonrise Kingdom
  4. The Loopers
  5. The Avengers

I haven’t seen The Life of Aqautic and Moonrise Kingdom. And personally, I kinda disagree with The Loopers being inside the list and The Hobbit being on top but oh well, that’s his opinion.

I haven’t seen a lot of movie in 2012, so I’m just gonna pick my top 5 from the list of movies I have seen. So here’s the list of movie I have seen: Norweigian Wood, Underworld Awakening, Chronicle, The Innkeeper, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, John Carter, 21 Jump Street, The Hunger Games, Wrath of The Titans, The American Reunion, Avengers, Battleship, Men In Black III, Prometheus, Madagascar 3, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Brave, The Amazing Spider-Man, Katy Perry: Part of Me, Ice Age: Continental Drift, The Dark Knight Rises, The Watch, Step Revolution, Total Recall, The Expendables 2, Looper, Wreck-It Ralph, Skyfall, Life of Pi, and The Hobbit.

So ta da! *drum roll* my top 5 movies of 2012 are:

  1. Dark Knight Rise
This is a no brainer for me. I already knew that this would my top of the list this year even before I watch the movie. One of my all time favorites. The acting, directing, and the plot are all amazing. A perfect wrap up to the batman trilogy.
  2. Avengers
Personally, I think the people who base their argument that this movie sucks because the lack of storyline are idiots. It’s avengers for goodness sake, the cartoon and comic have been around for like God-knows how many years and when the movie is announce to be released, just like every other super hero movies, you more or less knows the whole story. I don’t even think that the acting in this movie is superb. But I’m giving credit to this movie for its sheer awesomeness and epicness alone. It may not be fair but this is 1 of those exception where you just don’t care about the story line. What matters is how the they can bring these super heroes to live and doesn’t disappoint what the comic has created, wihch I believe they did. Superbly. But then again, there’ll still be people who don’t see it this way.
  3. Prometheus
This is a bit unexpected for me. I didn’t really know exactly what I was going to see but to my surprise, this movie is awesome! I can’t wait to the 2nd installment, which I’m sure there will be. Not very often that I love a Sci-Fi films this is one of the few. Definitely worth checking out.
  4. The Chronicle
Though the movie look cheap but I think this movie is fantastic. The story is really great and well-acted. It the idea of super power and put to you on a very personal and realistic level showing 1 possible shit that would down in real life if you were to have super power.
  5. The Hobbit : The Unexpected Journey
If I haven’t seen Lord of The Rings, this movie definitely would make it to 2nd place on my list. Like I mentioned in my review on this movie, my problem with The Hobbit is that I compare it too much with LOTR which I love so much. And of course, The Hobbit cannot take the crown from LOTR and I was disappointed that I had to see it later than LOTR. Other than that, I absolutely love the movie. I think the movie is great and Peter Jackson is amazing as usual.

Harddisk Partitioning

Twice in 24 hrs I encounter people needing to re-partition their hard drive without losing data or reformatting their PC. I’ve never actually done this before. I have never had the need to do so. Neither did I know that it’s possible.  I think this is something worth sharing.

There are different ways you can do that. I’ve googled and pick out some of the instructions on different ways you can do it. Of course you can google that yourself as well. My list are just basically example where I found that the author of the content gave very clear and comprehensive steps to follow which makes it easier for the lest techie person:

  1. Using WinSuit 2012
It’s is pretty simple instruction to get the job done. However, you’d have to pay 50 bucks for the software.
  2. Using Window Administrative Tool by
This is video guide which leads you through how to do that by simply using the already available Windows’ Administrative tools. I think this one would be ideal since it’s free and doesn’t requite you to download and install extra software. But I’m not sure how effective can that be given the bad history of Windows default tools. Nevertheless, no harm giving it a try.
  3. Using GParted
This is an old article on how you can do that with GParted with a backup software to do it. I think this is more for very a drastic change in partition. So you just simple want to take out some free space from your D drive and push it over to C, I don’t think there’s a need for this. I picked out this guide basically just intending to show that you can really go so far as a complete revamp of your partition.

I don’t think very often you’d need to re-partition your hard disk but as rare I thought, people still do need to do it. Again the above 3 different instruction is I picked out from google search and I’ve never actually tried it personally. So there’s no personal comment on my part on how effective each instruction is.

Harddisk Partitioning

Since the latest mass shooting occurrence at Newtown, Connecticut. I’ve been following the news related to this and the debate on gun control in U.S quite closely. Then today when I wake to watch the latest Philip DeFranco episode there was also a section on this topic that gave me the urge to write a post and reflect on this matter. I think this is going to be one long post.

I’ll start things off with the most cliche argument on topic of violence. “Video games induce violence” said the guy who never play video game. I’m definitely disagree with that and I find that by now this is a stupid reasoning to use to keep weapon legal. But oh well, NRA still couldn’t find a better comeback than this. As much as, I like those FPS and graphically violent games like GTA, I don’t think they could be solely blamed for being the cause of violence. They definitely give players the imagination. So does movies, news, book, TV show… anything can give us imagination. And as everything else, it’s a business and business thrive because there’re demand. So we’re talking about a high demand for violent FPS games here. And it’s only because there’s so much demand for the highly graphical FPS games that the game companies continue to make more of them and hire people specifically to make them more realistic, more violent. Just look at GTA, I hate that game and I can never understand how can people love this stupid game but let’s face it, people do love it. And hence the release of the many more version of GTA and the likes. And is it the game’s fault that people love it? It sounds like I’m a game advocate? I am but I honestly don’t think that it takes a genius or a pro-game person to see this logic. Why? because a lot of old fashion RPG games I love went to extinction due to the lack of demand in the market.

I think the tendency for violence is primitive instinct or psychological mindset or whatever you’d like to call it. But basically, a person needs to be nurtured well and away from it. We’re all born animal. Even worse, animal with intelligence. Once our primitive instinct takes over, we can be very dangerous. Regarding that, I think society, government, and family is way more responsible for this than video games. And we never even forget the fact that like everything else, video games is made by a bunch of people for the purpose of profit and they don’t care about your children or whoever your love ones is. The make you buy, they’ll make more. Same for any products. Event weapons. And if you don’t, they’ll find a way to convince you or if possible force you to buy. Hence, it all depends on the parties who have the responsibility, authority, capacity, maturity and interest in protecting the individual to do something about it. When they’re not doing their job so well and turn themselves to blame everything else, I find that disgusting.

Gun doesn’t kill. The person does.” another overly used sentences on this topic. Of course it doesn’t, we all know that. Neither is everything else. “Gun doesn’t. The person does. So how it is the game and not the gamer?” (or something like that I can’t remember the exact phrasing but the meaning remains) one of my favorite 9gag memes on this issue. Again, I think it doesn’t take a genius to figure that gun is just a tool and the tool doesn’t kill. Well, maybe yes if you accidentally shoot yourself then again it’s still you who did the killing. I definitely agree that it’s always the person’s fault they murder someone. But the tool is what amplifies the magnitude of that fault. Let’s say for some reason, I wanna kill some bastard who really pissed me off. If the most deadly weapon I can find at my disposal is a chopper or golf club, then I would have to cut him many time and also get close to him to do the damage which can also result in some struggle hence there a chance that he may not die from the incidence. Or maybe to my misfortune, the guy turns out to be some kung fu or karate master. He could’ve disarm and probably beat the crap out of me. But if instead I could get my hand on some semi-automatic 50 bullet magazine rifle, how do you think a kung fu  master would handle that? So of course, gun doesn’t take lives but it give tremendous ability to take many lives in a short time and that is extremely dangerous in the wrong hands.

Some geniuses would say oh then chainsaw, gas tank, cleaver, and all the other extremely dangerous tool beside gun would also give you that capability. Is it? As conveniently as gun? Maybe. Agreed those tools are extremely dangerous too and need to be handled with care but again those are useful tools and we need them for our daily lives. What about gun? useful tool for daily lives? Hardly… Or is it? Gun is very useful for hunting and protection of our family and stuffs from bad guys and criminals. Says the genius. You live in one of the most developed and civilized country in the world and you need to do hunting and protection of family and stuff. Seems legit. Okay maybe you really really do need them for hunting and protection, you can’t live without hunting and feeling safe because you can shoot people back if they were to shoot you. But why on earth would you need semi-automatic military rifle for that?

Then they also say the gun is not the problem, we should not focus on it let’s focus on beefing up security and mental health monitoring. So how do we do that again? Put military guards in all public institutions and crowded places like cinema, shopping malls and stuff? Oh then how to do we do that mental health monitoring thing again. Do mental check on every citizen on regular basis? So that will stop the shooting while still making guns widely available? Oh I just couldn’t help with the sarcasm. I don’t have any statistic but speaking from an experience of the person who has suffered mental instability from school bullies, relationship problem and dysfunctional family, I definitely don’t think any mental health measure could stop me doing anything dangerous if I were to have a rifle in my hand in that moment of mental outburst. The only thing that stopped me was the inaccessibility to deadly weapons. Only after I live through the agony of that for some time that I was fortunate enough to move to new environment building new life knowing new people who care and love me give me courage and hope that if I keep my heads up and things will work out for the better, which fortunately for me, it did. If there’s anything I know from having mental instability is that we never reveal it and show it to anyone and yet hoping people would see and understand. As impossible and crazy as it sounds, it’s the truth. I would act all normal and fun around people while burning deep down and hoping someone would understand and help me. But guess what? nobody would know. And usually, it’s these type of mental instability that has the potential to lead to the most dangerous outcome. To all my honest opinion, I don’t thing anybody body can stop that from happening around the world beside the closest ones to the individual which is his/her good friends and family. As for higher level entities such as society and government, I would have to say the best they can do is protect the innocent bystander and minimize damage cause whenever such outburst happens. And for all common sense, I think stopping access to deadly arm weapon would really minimize that.

Also, I don’t see why you need to beef up security, and mental health monitoring but don’t stop selling gun and make it illegal. Why not do all the 3? I’ve seen it with my country. The government made gun illegal and confiscate all arm weapon from home and the occurrence of shooting and gang gun fight reduced tremendously. And mark my word “reduce”, because some people get so carried away that they end up just talking about stopping stuff. There’s really a major difference. Honestly, I don’t think you can really ever stop it, there will always be crazy people out there doing crazy things. Even in one of the safest countries in the world like Singapore is no exception. I think the answer is pretty obvious no matter what reason is raised to keep gun in business. Profit. Money. Oh.. the ugly truth.

All in all, I think whatever I have said is no revelation nor an absolutely righteous idea. However, I do feel that deep down inside everyone knows all these and it’s just that they have make an argument to serve their interest. And that’s why we see smart people making stupid statements.

Christmas 2012

Wishing everybody around the world a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday!

2012 has been yet another very eventful year. A lot of things to moan and be thankful for. So let’s go down the list of the events I can recall throughout 2012.

Things I’m thankful for

Obama re-elected – Well, I’m happy that he was reelected and I think a lot of people are.

Robot on Mars – Mankind successfully place a robot on Mar and advance the progress on our space exploration.

Messi break another scoring record – as of last Saturday, Messi has made it to 91 goals scored in 2012, 6 more than the previous record held by Gerd Muller. I’m so happy that he’s doing so great.

3 Epic movies – Avengers, Dark Knight Rise and The Hobbit. Probably 3 of the movies that make u feel great living in this world.

Gangnam Style become Billion Style – well it hits 1 billion views on youtube on 21/12/2012 making it the first youtube video ever to reach 1 billion view.

Survived End of The World – Not that I believe that it’s gonna happen but well, we survived and cheers to that.

I’m also thankful for all the positive things that has been happening to me in 2012.

Things I’m sad for

The Mass Shooting in US – There are 2 majors mass shooting this year in US and God knows how many minor ones. The latter involves the death of 20 innocent children. It doesn’t affect me on any personal level nor did I know any of the victim personally. But what strikes me when I heard the news is no one should ever have to feel the feeling of having to bear the news their children die. You don’t have to feel it to know how extremely painful it is. You can never forget such thing as long as you live. As much as I’m sad for those who’ve passed away, I’m even sadder for those who have to lived through the pain and memory till death.

Conflicts around the world – Political games make many innocent lives suffer.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Wreck-It Ralph is a story about an arcade game bad guy Wreck-It Ralph from the game Fix It Felix who’s unhappy with being a bad guy and live alone and rejected in the dump. So in order to get approval and acceptance from the peers in his game, he game jump (basically mean he enters another game which he’s not supposed to and is illegal) to try go get a gold medal to show his peers that a bad guy can get medal and in turn, would get their praise and acceptance.

I didn’t like the story that much. The animation is so-so. But when I saw the trailer for this movie, I knew I was going to watch it. It’s a childhood thing I guess. I was born in the golden age of Arcade. So when I see someone take arcade and make into a movie and movie is branded Disney. Well, sucks or not, I’m gonna watch it. I think it’s definitely great movie for kids. Lotsa cute stuff and all. But for teenage and adults maybe not so much. But I still believe some of them still do. Personally, I just find it okay.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)

Another of the middle earth adventure from J.R.R Tokkien comes to live on the big screen. I think it needs no introduction. Definitely another amazing piece of work from Peter Jackson. I’ll never get enough of the middle earth journey. The Hobbit is no exception. The scenery, setting and cinematography are amazing. I think my only problem with The Hobbit is that I compare it with Lord of The Rings. How can you don’t, when it’s just part of the story with different title. So what disappointed me? I’m disappointed because they gave you something super awesome and epic like LOTR trilogy and then give you The Hobbit. Still awesome and epic but not as much then hoping you’d like it better…?? why why… why would you not release The Hobbit before LOTR.

Not that I know why but personally, throughout the show I kept thinking how can this top LOTR? Well it did not. So if for some weird reason you haven’t seen LOTR, I have admit that you’re actually lucky. Finish The Hobbit trilogy then watch the extended version of the LOTR trilogy. That will one epic Middle Earth adventure feast. >_<

Movies-To-Watch List

Just when I thought 2012 is an awesome year for movies… then I watch 2013 movie trailers, and I can’t wait for 2013 to come.

And my movies-to-watch list suddenly grows very long…

  1. 20-Dec-2012Wreck-it Ralph
Disney and video games. Won’t go wrong for me. I think the idea of the movie is really great.
  2. 14-Feb-2013 – Escape From Planet Earth
Voiced by Brendan Fraser and Jessica Alba… Well it’s just sth about 3D animation that I must watch.
  3. 14-Feb-2013A Good Day To Die Hard
It’s sth about the phrase “Die Hard” combine with the name “Bruce Willis” that makes me want to give it a shot. It’s funny that Valentine’s day is a good day to die hard.
  4. 01-Mar-2013 – Jack The Giant Slayer
I think this is yet another spin off from Jack and The Bean Stalk just an attempt to make it more epic… Well we’ll see about that.
  5. 22-Mar-2013 – Olympus Has Fallen
Haven’t seen the trailer for this one. But it’s Gerrard Butler! Though all shaven and clean (from the poster at least) I still have to check it out. Also got Morgan Freeman.
  6. 22-Mar-2013 – The Croods
    Dreamwork. Gotta watch.
  7. 29-Mar-2013G.I Joe: Retaliation
I didn’t really like The Rise of Cobra but Retaliation looks more promising with addition of Bruce Willis and Dwayne Jhonson. I’m really looking forward to it.
  8. 01-Apr-2013 – Oblivion
This just looks cool. My type of genre and the design and settings look great too. Tom Cruise on a mission who doesn’t wanna sit in?
  9. 03-May-2013 – Iron Man 3
    Nuff said.
  10. 17-May-2013 – Star Trek Into Darkness
Unexpectedly, I came to love the first Star Trek release in 2009 so much. So yeah definitely looking forward to the 2nd installment.
  11. 24-May-2013 – Fast and Furious 6
So they really are not planning to end it at 5. Haven’ t seen the trailer, but I’ll most likely go to see it anyway.
  12. 07-Jun-2013 – After Earth
Father and son couple up in a movie again… this time isn’t about the pursuit of happiness but the fight for survival.
  13. 14-Jun-2013 – Man of Steel
I’ve never been a fan of Superman and never like any Superman movies but there is just some magic about Christopher Nolan that most likely will make this movie awesome. I wasn’t a big fan of batman either but seeing how much I love his batman trilogy, Man of Steel definitely 1 of my must-watch movie of 2013.
  14. 21-Jun-2013 – World War Z
Another variation of earth destruction. They never tired of coming up with different ways to destroy earth. And I’ll just keep seeing it.
  15. 28-Jun-2013 – Kick-Ass 2
I’m waiting to see if this is just made to make money off the success and awesomeness of the first or to be yet another kick-ass awesome film.
  16. 12-Jul-2013 – Pacific Rim
Wow! Alien comes from under the sea… somewhat the monsters and the battles remind me a lot of Ultraman.
  17. 26-Jul-2013 – The Wolverine
Again nuff said. Definitely must see.
  18. 16-Aug-2013 – Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters
Finally, the second of Percy Jackson is here.
  19. 08-Nov-2013 – Thor: The Dark Worlds
Here we go. 2nd appearance of Thor solo.
  20. 22-Nov-2013 – The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
We all know what it is. Only thing left to do is seeing it.
  21. 13-Dec-2013 – The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
Yet another movie that doesn’t require introduction.

Wow! so roughly I have about 21 movies to catch in 2013 and the trend somehow seems very similar to 2012. A lot of super heroes line up and also number of end-of-world and apocalypse genre. Not that I have any complain. I think they’re awesome. But I would definitely love to see more of fantasy genre with elf, fairies and more of middle earth settings movies beside The Hobbit. Or maybe they can start ripping off some MMORPG into movies.

Interesting Stuffs #001

Wow 12/12/12 has a lot of interesting news, I’d like to comment on…

MovieHobbit Director despairs of iPad-Movie-watcher

I totally agree on the larger screen and more immersive experience part but not on the 3D. Kinda contradictory of me but for a short sighted person, I’m still finding current 3D is not natural enough and it’s a drag to watch 3D with the 3D glasses. I get dizzy, headache and teary eyes during the show which more or less ruin the experience instead. So unless until 3D evolves to stage where we can experience it with naked eyes, I’m not a fan.

Music: Disco queen Donna Summer to join rock Hall of Fame

Well, if you care. I think this is something big to be in this Hall of Fame along with all the legends like Aerosmith and Elvis Presley. But oh well I’m not big Rock n Roll fan, but I love Aerosmith and Elvis Presley. So I think to be honored along side with them is big.

Sport: Arsenal eliminated by Bradford on penalties in League Cup

Arsenal… Arsenal… what are you doing? I think after this Arsene Wenger will get a few more wrinkles on his face. This poor performance will surely get a lot of criticism from media and also bashing from fans as well. This is just surprisingly poor performance from this big club. They have some really good players, so I hope somehow they put themselves together soon.

Internet: Yahoo overhauls email for Web, mobile

It really took them quite a while to figure this out but too gmail has already advance pass that. Anyway, I’m looking forward to what they’d do with this new found epiphany. Hopefully, they can come up with something intelligent for all of us to enjoy.

Space: US sends futuristic X-37B plane back into space

Juicy news for space fanboy? I’m for one not excited. Honestly, I’ve never really been excited about space news. I’m very a earth person. My impression whenever we make some space breakthrough is that with the time and money they spent on space they could use some of that to save the earth.

NK: North Korea launches rocket in defiance of critics

I really hope the end of all these is just political games.

Finance: SIA sells stake in Virgin Atlantic for $439m

Implication? I have no idea. I guess SIA no longer think that VA is so virgin any more better sell them out for hundreds of millions and make headline news.

Interesting Stuffs #001

Lionel Messi

Yesterday was yet another historic day in football world. An epic win for Manchester United over Manchester City. And the great Lionel Messi broke yet another record. By scoring two goals for Barcelona against Real Betis yesterday, Messi broke Gerd Muller’s most-goal-scored-in-one-calendar-year record which lasted well over 40 years. Gerd Muller’s record was 85 goals in 1 calendar year. Messi’s second goal against Real Betis was his 86th goal of 2012. I’m obviously very happy and extremely in awe of his latest achievement. I think there were almost no doubt that he would break it since there are still quite a number of matches to go in 2012 and from the way he’s going, it doesn’t seem like anyone could stop him from scoring. Let’s see if he can take it to 90 in the remaining 3 matches.

As expected, the media outburst and all the buzzes. And quite obviously, a lot of hates and negativity going around in the comment section. I really don’t understand these people. It almost seems like they enjoy going around bashing people’s success. Probably they do. I’m not football fanatic nor am I a big fan of any football club. I watch sport simply because I enjoy the sportsmanship and the amazing feat these sport men display. Like him or not, you’ve gotta accept that he’s an exceptional player. His rise to legendary stardom may resulted from more than just his sheet talent and that’s tremendous support from his extremely talented team mates but we’ve gotta see that it also take a great player to utilize those support and turn it into results. In short pick up the pass and turn it into goals. I’ve been watching Messi since he only more or less only knew how to dribble like a mad cow until he turn into a scoring a machine. I think the man has made a tremendous progress from being a pointlessly amazing solo dribbler to an incredible team player yet still amazing soloist.

The standard argument (or maybe a statement) of some of the people I’ve seen on the net is that if you were to put Luiz Suarez, Kun Aguero, Rooney, Robin Van Persie, or Falcao (whichever great striker you love) into Messi’s place they would do just as well or maybe even better. They would just easily break those records. Do I think so? No, I don’t. No doubt, each of these strikers are top-notch probably one of world’s best strikers. I have a lot of love and respect for them but I still don’t think that given Messi’s place in Barca side, they would be able to score the amount of goals and display solo brilliance the way Messi does. And Messi doesn’t just get goals, he also get assists, which is an amazing feat. Barca has been having some really legendary strikers that I love like Ronaldhino and Ronaldo. They are people that have been in Messi’s place and have achieved greatness but yet cannot generate the record that Messi does. Well, again if you come up to say “Yeah, that’s because Ronaldhino and Ronald are crap they earn everything because of their talented team mates. If you put any other striker there, they would do just as well.” then I seriously don’t know how you enjoy watching this sport.

Personally, I celebrate and respect every player that displays amazing performance on the field and give great entertainment to the fan and the sport. The only player that I dislike even when they’re damn good is a player with attitude problem (on and off the field). Players like Ibrahimovic and Drogba, I love them so much in PES because they’re great with no attitude but in real life, another story. Well then again attitude problem or not can be subjective as well depending of how big of a fan and how blinded you are. I think one great controversial example would be Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7). I have a group of friends adore him so much and another group think he’s a cocky bastard. But both agree that he’s a legendary player. Without Messi, he would be standing of top of the football world. I like him best when he was still a mid fielder in Man U. He played so well and display great humility. One of my greatest joy will be to see him back in Man U alongside Rooney and Van Persie. Then we would be seeing some epic game in EPL and UCL.

All in all, I don’t see why people should be going around with so much hate. We all should be joyful that we’re alive to witness the day history is made and live to tell our children and grand children that “I lived in a time of Messi and CR7, and son, you really miss out some great football.”

Life of Pi (2012)

To be honest, I’m not sure how I feel about this movie. If we are just talking graphic and cinematography, I think it’s amazing. I’m so curious to how they manage to film those beautiful scenes. I felt like I have been taken on a short journey through the Pacific ocean and feel its wrath and beauty. Simply breathtaking. Couldn’t imagine how awesome it would be to experience it for real. I think it would suck, since I would probably be scared as hell and die soon afterward. So yes watching Life of Pi is definitely way better and way cheaper than a cruise across the Pacific Ocean for me.

My first thought when the show ended was… “what the hell?’. I was a bit irritated with a little bit of frustration. The movie started of by introducing you what you may come to think as whole point of the story and gave anticipation to how the story would revolve to answering the great question. Then it went on to show you this incredibly unbelievable story of a young man surviving a shipwreck drifting across the ocean. And that was it. True, he did mention stuff about God was testing him, and when he hits the bottom, God would give him a little break and a little push so that he could rest then pick up from there and move on. But that was all just what were expected of the story and it definitely is not a revelation. What I was kinda hoping to see was something of the author’s insight to this story. What does Pi taking on many religions has any thing to do with incredible journey, and what this incredible journey concludes about religions and ultimately God himself? Then I thought probably they purposely leave it at that and let viewers choose what to think for themselves.

I’ve always have my own solid opinion and view of religion. Nevertheless, I always love to hear or read others’ perspectives and insights pertaining to this topic. So yeah well, I was rather disappointed with the ending. But that doesn’t take anything away from the movie. You can simply go to see it just simply for the sheer beauty of the show. So definitely recommended.
