Previously, I did my top selection of cover on Titanium. Now is another post for We Are Young by Fun. A great song. It’s nominated for best record of the year for Grammy.
- We Are Young (Cover) by Tiffany Alvord, Alex Goot, and Luke
Vocally, I don’t think this is the best version out there. However, this version suits my taste the most and I love the video. The video is very pleasant and cheerful which very much suits the song.
- We Are Young (Cover) by Little Mix
Wow! this acoustic version simply amazing very very harmonized. I really love what they do with it.
- We Are Young (A Capella Cover) by Mike Tompkins
A Capella version from one of my most favorite youtube musician. Talented as usual, and he made it sound very pleasant and cheerful. Great great effort. But somehow, I just prefer this song with more female’s voice.
- We Are Young (Cover) by Jon D & Alex G
Now it’s official, I definitely like this song better with girl’s voice. Her voice is amazing at least or this song. It’s only down at #4 because it sounds the closest to the original version.
- We Are Young (Cover) by Jake Coco, Corey Gray, Caitline Hart
This is yet another great version too some of you may think the other rendition listed below may sound better. Probably but I kinda like this one better.
So that’s my top 5. And below are some more of the really good ones.
One of the very popular songs in recent year. This song been covered by so many YouTuber and Reality shows. I’ve listened quite many cover version of this song that I really like. Then I just wonder which one I like most? So here’s my list.
#1 – Titanium (Cover) by Madilyn Bailey
I’m really torn between this one and the one by Beatrice (#2) but since Beatrice didn’t do the full song, I guess I’ll give it Madilyn. I think for anyone who’s been following YouTube musician they would know Madilyn. I’m no music expert. It’s just base on feeling. Basically her version gave me the most goosebumps, hence it’s my most favorite. Plus, I’ve always liked her voice.
#2 – Titanium by Beatrice Miller
If you follow XFactor USA this year, you would undoubtedly know who’s Beatrice Miller. I feel her voice seems so suited for this song especially when she went into chorus.
#3 – Titanium (Cover) by Tiffany Alvord
I like this piano version done by Tiffany. She doesn’t have that powerful voice for this song but I think she kinda make it feel different. In a good way. I enjoy listening to it over and over.
So these are my top 3. There many more good ones out there. Here are some more of the good ones I’ve listen to.
I don’t why although a lot people think that Kris Allen sang No Boundaries better than Adam Lambert, but I still prefer the Adam Lambert version more than Kris Allen’s one. There’s just something about his voice that keeps me listening.
Mad World is definitely Adam’s best performance of the season for me.
This was a global buzz a few weeks back but I couldn’t blog about it because of Mr Exam. So now time to put it up. Yes! I’m talking about the Britain Got Talent shocker Susan Boyle! Well, if you didn’t know what happened, you can Google it out because her name is all over the net now, I ain’t gonna be redundant and repeat what have been said a million times. Anyway, I kept watching it over and over and over and over. An angelic voice coming from a humble women that inspires the world to stop and listen. Enough said, see it for yourself.
Also, through this I was able to witness two more voices also from same show. It was from season 1 of the show back in 2007. Pardon my ignorance but the buzz about Britain Got Talent really never reach me till recently. Anyway, YES, it’s Paul Potts and Connie Talbot that I’m talking about. The man who makes me start listening to opera and cute little 6 year old angel with voice of pure innocence. I dunno if Paul is any better than other world class opera singer since I don’t actually listen to opera but the thing about him that makes me love listening is because of his story. It’s the fact that an insignifant nobody who’s sing like a voice of a great somebody that makes the effect greater.
Woot! just finished watching Hotel for Dogs and Paul Blart Mall Cop. The movies were okay. Not so bad, not so good. Hotel for Dogs was better though. Anyway the entry is not about the movies but the soundtrack. I like a few songs in there.
First is a very old song I think. It’s I Can’t Hold Back by Survivor from Pual Blart Mall Cop. Next is from Hotel for Dogs (H4D), A Beautiful World by Tim Myers. Another 1 also from H4D, it’s It Had to Be You by Motion City Soundtrack. I like the Music Video. It’s good.
