  • Comment: Nice and convenient to use but sadly there is only a limited currency available. I think about 5 or 6 currency only (SGD, US, EUR, BRP and Canada Dollar).

  • Rating: ♥ ♥
  • Name: CashTrail Lite
  • Price: Free
  • Comment: Since I’m so in love with Expense Log, I didn’t really explore this. But since you have to pay $4.99 for the full version app, I doubt CashTrail Lite is any good. When I went to the app I saw much more controls than Expense Log, I sense that app will more time consuming to keep up. Anyway, if you’re really into personal financial tracking then this might worth a try.

Updates On Some Cool Stuffs

First is something I’m very excited about. I have lost interest or should I say time to have time interest on anime for a long time. Finally, one title has sparked that interest again. That is the newly released Fate/Zero which will also be followed by Fate/Zero 2 in 2012. Here is an awesome cover!

Other that I also saw Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam and Hunter x Hunter 2011. After reading the manga, I’m really curious to what’s going be the storyline of Hunter x Hunter 2011 is it going to follow the manga and just whole other story?

Other than anime, I was browser AllYouLike then found some really interested and potentially useful software.

  1. ConceptDraw Office Pro 8.0.7.4
This is actually interesting software. I’m think of trying it out.
  2. WebcamMax 7.5.4.2
I seriously don’t know what people will use this for but interesting.
  3. Pearl Mountain Picture Collage Maker Pro v3.1.6.3545
  4. Microsoft Office 2010 PRO Plus
    Enough said.
  5. Cucusoft iPad iPhone iPod to Computer Transfer
A handy for apple product user on PC
  6. Collection of Programs For Data Recovery – AIO
    You’ll need this sometimes.
  7. Microsoft Visio Premium 2010
Never know of this. Looks like something I need.
  8. Advanced SystemCare Pro 4.2.0.249
This is good. Helps to clean shit of your com and help speed it up.
  9. Portable USB Apps
I’m quite a fan of portable apps. Why? why not? a software that can run without installing is just awesome. And this is one giant epic collection of it.
Then I also came across two seemingly awesome games—Magic-The Gathering: Duel of the Planes (gameplay) and Darksiders (gameplay). The gameplay looks awesome. Although I don’t really play games nowadays, but since it’s looks very tempting to me, I thought it’s worth sharing.

Backup MSN Custom Emoticons

“How do I backup my MSN emoticons?” is probably question you’d most likely wonder when you’re doing system recovery or reformatting. What most people do is after recovery, they’d go around asking their friends to send them 1 by 1 again. This is alright if you only have 10 or 20 customs emoticons. It’ll be a bit troublesome if it the number hits 3 digits.

The problem here we don’t know where is out emoticons is stored after we added. Well, here it is:

For Window XP:

C:\Document and Setting\username (folder of your PC username)\Local\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger\youremail@email.com\ObjectStore\CustomEmoticons\

Or it’s something like that I couldn’t remember the exact sequence since I’m Vista users.

For Window Vista:

C:\Users\username (folder of your PC username)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Messenger\youremail@email.com\ObjectStore\CustomEmoticons\

In the folder, the emoticons are stored in .id2 extension. To view it, you need to convert it to a .gif image by simply replace the .id2 with .gif in the file name. e.g. Gl7RuBWIfhHgl3oF7V3A0Z48O80=.id2 will become Gl7RuBWIfhHgl3oF7V3A0Z48O80=.gif

So to back up you just copy out all the files from that folder and after, you have installed your MSN messenger upon recovery, you can paste it back at the same folder. No sweat.

Adobe Creative Suite 4

I just started using Adobe CS3 for barely 1 year and now Adobe CS4 is in the store. Sigh… Adobe really doesn’t give their engineers a break neither would they give the consumers the time to settled down with CS3. Well, as far as myself is concern, Adobe CS4 is just news since I’m not going to be able to afford it any time soon. Probably, when I’m ready to upgrade my CS3 Web Premium, CS5 is out. I shall wait till then. There is already so much I can do with CS3. With my current knowledge, I can barely utilize 10% of all that I have. I don’t see why I should go for an upgrade anytime soon. Probably, I should invest it on knowledge upgrade rather than product upgrade.
